The initial plan review is completed prior to the beginning
of framing construction. The plan review
looks for possible HUD accessibility compliance issues. The plan review does
NOT eliminate the need and requirement for developers to do their due diligence
with respect to compliance; it remains the responsibility of the
owner/developer to ensure that the completed multi-family development complies
with all program construction quality and accessibility requirements.
The development inspection checklist is used for both the mid and the final inspections. The checklist is based upon the HUD
requirements, as well as the GLO Housing Design Standards.
