Single family Rental Recovery

The Disaster Recovery Program Single family Rental program provides funds for rehabilitation, reconstruction and/or new construction of affordable single family rental housing projects with seven or less rental units under common ownership. Units may be on contiguous or scattered lots.

The Single Family Rental Recovery Program is implemented locally by eligible cities, counties, councils of governments and public housing authorities.  These entities contract with the Land Office as subrecipients. The Land Office oversees the implementation of the program by the subrecipients.

Texas Rebuilds provides technical guidance, training materials and support documents to help streamline execution and increase efficiency from the start of the program when the subrecipient requests funding to the completion of the grant.
